About the Robooter E40

The Robooter E40 folds manually using a simple two-step process that takes about 15 seconds. No tools needed. When folded, it fits in most car boots and stores easily at home.

The chair weighs 25kg with the battery fitted. Light enough to lift with help, but stable enough for daily use.

Indoor and Outdoor Use

The chair travels at 7 km/h and works best indoors and on smooth outdoor surfaces like pavements. The tight turning radius means it fits through standard doorways and turns easily in hallways, shops and between furniture.

The front wheels are solid honeycomb PU so they won’t puncture. The rear wheels are pneumatic tubeless tyres that smooth out bumps. The chair handles slopes and can cross door thresholds and small gaps.

Controls

The joystick sits on the armrest with a display showing battery level and speed setting. You can choose right-hand or left-hand controller when ordering.

The smartphone app connects via Bluetooth to iPhones and Android phones. You can drive the chair remotely when you’re not sitting in it – useful for bringing it to you or parking it in tight spaces. The app also shows battery status and allows updates.

Voice prompts guide you through functions like speed changes and battery warnings.

The Seat

The seat has memory foam padding with breathable fabric for comfort during extended use.

The backrest supports your lower and mid-back. Maximum user weight is 150kg.

The armrests are padded and flip up for sideways transfers. The footrest stays fixed.

Storage

The underseat basket holds shopping bags or daily items. The waterproof rear backpack attaches to the back of the seat and keeps belongings dry.

Both storage areas stay attached when you fold the chair.

Battery and Range

The 20Ah lithium battery gives you up to 23km of range. How far you travel depends on your weight, the terrain and your speed.

For typical daily indoor use, the battery lasts several days between charges. You can remove the battery and charge it separately. A 10Ah battery is also available, which gives about 11km of range.

Build and Weather

The frame is aluminium, which keeps the weight manageable and doesn’t rust. The chair handles rain and wet pavements.

The brakes engage automatically when you release the joystick. Anti-tip wheels at the rear prevent backwards tipping on slopes.

Delivery and Setup

The chair arrives fully assembled and folded. You unfold it, charge the battery, and it’s ready to use.
