The Robooter’s Omnidirectional Wheels Explained

Did you know? The Robooter powerchair from The Mobility Outlet has something quite unique about the way it drives?
The wheels are ‘omnidirectional’ which literally means that instead of a traditional tyre made of rubber solid in most cases, it has lots of independent rotating rollers. These rollers allow the chair to turn very easily and almost on a sixpence.
Not only is the turning circle very compact but the Robooter will also move sideways or diagonally very easily allowing you to manoeuvre in almost any space the chair will fit.
We have tried and tested the powerchair and it is particularly impressive in small houses or offices and when out an about in lifts and hallways.
Oh yes one more thing if you are not sitting in the chair, you can still steer it to exactly where you want it by the smartphone app via Bluetooth. This is perfect for when you may be relaxing or working and want more space, but you can then easily recall it to your position when required.
